There is a charge to maintain the free website, information, etc. However, it is either deducted from your gifts or they add the 'surcharge' to the person who is giving the gift to you. There are a few diff websites that offer this though. I think one of them is through Wedding Channel (Traveler's Joy). The other is Honeymoon Wishes.
