FH & I are contimplating a Hawaiian cruise with NCL as part of our honeymoon, so we can see more of Hawaii. We would do 3 or 4 nights in Oahu and then the 7 night cruise, which leave from Honolulu, makes 2 stops on the Big Island, and then stays overnight in both Kuaui and Maui.
The cruise is on NCL's Pride of America.
Has anyone ever cruised with NCL before? I love cruising but have only ever been on Royal Caribbean and Princess.
Let me know if anyone has any reviews
TIA!

Re: Honeymoon-Related Question
I've been on NCL before its nice. The only thing is that u do dinner whenever you want and aren't seated with the same people.

Re: Honeymoon-Related Question
I know people that LOVE NCL, but FH and I went on a week cruise to the Bahamas and while it was nice, it wasn't really that FUN. I think Royal Caribbean is a better time.

Re: Honeymoon-Related Question
We cruise NCL every year with FH's family. It's a great cruiseline. There's no like set times to do anything - your free to eat, drink, play as you please. I've only ever been the NCL Dawn and it's a great ship. I can't imagine the other ones wouldn't be great as well.

Re: Honeymoon-Related Question
Thanks for the input girls.
Like I said, I have only ever been on RC and Princess, and I had such an opposite experience on the two cruise lines. I LOVE RC- they are friendly, fun, accommodating, the food is great, ect ect. Princess- I hated. I thought the food wasn't as good, service was awful. The whole time I was on Princess I kept saying 'at the next port I'm getting off and waiting for the RC ship to pick me up'
My main worry is having a 'Princess experience' so-to-speak on my honeymoon.
I had heard that NCL is a 'whatever you want, whenever you want style', which I'm sure has its positives and negatives.

I think you will be happy. I have no real complaints. I'm just pretty sure it is more of a family cruise line with kids and stuff. FH and I didn't know that, but we did meet one couple that was on their honeymoon!
