So we were originally planning on going on our honeymoon August 3-11. We got an email that our flights were cancelled and the new flights would get us there late at night but we would still be charged for the entire day. After going back and forth with Sandals they said there is nothing that they can do for us. So now, we are going only for a week from the 6th-13th. Then we come home and leave the next day for Florida for my sisters wedding. FH said we can stay in florida for an extra couple f days to extend our trip but I am so sad that St. Lucia will not be as long as I would have liked. I really wish we could have afforded to go for longer. Oh well! I know I am lucky to be going on a trip and shouldn't be complaining. Please don't think I am ungrateful, I just am a bit dissappointed.

Awww... I'm sorry that it didn't work out as expected. Maybe you can go to Fla. and stay at a nice hotel so you still feel like you are celebrating you HM?

is there any other airline that you could take to get you there in the morning? i cant imagine that they would only have one flight :(.. let me know - i will do some online research for you if you like

which airport in st. lucia were you flying into? i see 'hewanorra' or 'vigie'.. i am on travelocity and expedia now for you
What airlines was this that cancelled? I am sorry that really sux hun. I would be upset too!! At least you are still going and I am sure you are going to have an AWESOME time!!! Stay longer in florida to make up for the lost time in St Lucia!

we understand why your sad ... but no matter where you go and no matter how long you go for ... you and FH are going to have an amazing time.
i will be fine...1 week in st lucia is plenty! i have been there

awww I'm so sorry that happened! I'd be disappointed too - you have every right to be! You guys will still have a terrific time and some extra time in Florida sounds great!
