Oh it was so beautiful and the water is amazing and I wish I was there right now!! Soooo relaxing -- especially after the stress of all that planning and obsessing! We stayed at the Marriott and were there for 10 days and I'm so glad that I changed it from 8 to 10 because we still didn't get a chance to do everything we wanted!!! I'm trying to get him to go back for our anniversary in October, but he won't fly, so I've got a bit of a battle ahead of me!! LOL :)

bearsbabe is right-definately Aruba. My 3rd time there will be for our honeymoon in May, I can't wait to go back!

I think it all depends on what you are looking for. I would be miserable in Aruba since I hate the Ocean. Well I don't hate the actual Ocean, just hate being in it at all. So Aruba would not be my ideal place.

We are going to South Africa and I cannot imagine a more beautiful trip. I also think Ireland, Paris and Italy would be beautiful.

Again, budget, time, and your likes all matter.

We are not married yet, but we have visited Aruba (stayed at the Hyatt) and the Bahamas (stayed at the Atlantis). Both were fantastic and the service was unbelievable. I would definitely recommend both places. I'm sure they give extra special treatment to newlyweds!!

Hawaii

I think kaui is the most romantic island but Maui is romantic too and there is more to do as far as activities.
I've been there twice and we are going again for our honeymoon.
