Re: Honeymoon spots...need opinions
My sister stayed at Sandals Antigua and ABSOLUTELY loved it. From her pictures, it looked gorgeous and fun, with lots of honeymooners. Its been 3 years and she still talks about it.
My Aunt went to Sandals St. Lucia and had an amazing time. She is going back next year for her 10 year anniversary. I also know another couple that went here and loved it.
Both tried convincing me to go to where they went, but we chose Couples Swept Away Negril.

we went to St Lucia for our HM this march. we split our time there between two resorts- TiKaye Village and Ladera. Neither of these are all inclusive. We liked that both had a privet plunge pool. TiKaye is very remote, on it's own natural beach. We stayed in a privet cottage with out door shower- i loved it there. Ladera is up in the mountains and has spectacular views and some of the best food on the island. The rooms there also only have 3 walls and are totally open to nature. FM me if you want more details

Re: Honeymoon spots...need opinions
We just got back from our SECOND trip to Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia.
We went for our honeymoon and loved it so much we had to go back for our anniversary. We were going to go to Antigua, but the flights were not direct and expensive. The direct flight to St. Lucia on JetBlue is awesome.
I absolutely LOVE St. Lucia. I am so in love with the beauty of the island, with the people. The biggest difference between St. Lucia and Antigua is St. Lucia, while a small island is bigger and there is a lot more to do. You can see the Pitons and snorkel or dive at the base of them, you can go to the drive through volcano and mudbaths (so fun!) and rinse off in the waterfalls. There are banana and sugar plantations to visit along with the RUM TOUR.
There's a great exhibit called 'Our Planet' which is state of the art and installed by NASA. They're really serious about tourism and there are so many sites to see.
There is less to do in Antigua. you can basically hire a dirver to take you around the whole island in one day. However, the beach where the Sandals is on Antigua is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
if you're attracted to the layout/Style of the Grande Antigua, then La Toc would be the equivalent on St. Lucia. It has the main part which is more active with lots of activities, and then there is the sunset bluff which is a quieter, more exclusive area with its own pool and INCREDIBLE views. We like to stay up there.
We've taken 2 trips to La Toc and I got to take a full tour of many rooms when we were there 2 weeks ago. Let me know if you have any questions about Sandals in general or St. Lucia in general, or especially Sandals St. Lucia.
