Honeymoon Suggestions

We're trying to decide where in Europe to go for our honeymoon.

I originally wanted to go to Italy, but since November is their rainy season, that's out.

My FH wants to go to Portugal. I am not so sure I want my first trip to Europe to be in Portugal.

Can any of you gals suggest something nicer?

PS: Greece is not an option, he doesn't want to go there.

I all depends on what kind of HM you want to have......relaxing and laid back or do you want to do a lot of sight seeing and exploring? Portugal will be very laid back and you won't feel as pressured to sight see. Some of the larger cities (Paris for example) can be very romantic but be prepared to feel the pressure to see everything!
I think Barcelona is a good combination of these 2 things. Barcelona is a lot of fun, the food is incredible and there is plenty to see and do. It will still be somewhat warm in November too. It's a very sexy city too....good for a HM!
We're going to the Greek Islands (santorini) in September, which I highly recommend, but may not be the best place for a first trip to Europe (as it doesn't have that 'european' feel).
