Can any one sugest a pace to honeymoon for June? We're looking to spend 2 weeks, hopefully 5k-8k range.
Here is the catch, FH would prefer a flight of no more than 3 hours ............
We travel to the Caribbean & Mexico every winter as our annual vacation so, I would kinda like to do somthing different/ special as our honeymoon.
FH will Surprize me but I have to suggest 3 locations and he will pick from there.

What about Hawaii That should be in your price range. You could also look into Europe, like Barcelona, Paris or Venice. Those are good options. We are doing a European cruise for part of our vacation.

Costa Rica is beautiful-I stayed at The Paradisus-all inclusive and breath taking. The flight is a little longer than 3 hrs more like 5-but you have to have a layover so it will break it up. Honestly I can't think of anywhere that is only a 3 hr flight unless you stay in US or go to Carribbean/Mexico.

Florida Keys? The private island resort owned by Hilton in Key West is very nice...you could drive the keys and stay at various resorts along the way. Or what about a combination of places? Charleston, Savannah, and Hilton Head? Maybe throwing Bermuda in there?

going a LITTLE bit over your time limit... but parrot cay (turks and caicos) is 3 1/4 hours away, and looks BEAUTIFUL!
Bermuda ! ! It's beautiful down there. FH and I went there a few years ago. We took a cruise down there, but I remember hearing that the flight isn't that long. They have gourgeous beaches and the people are extremly nice. There is history down there too, and you can just walk around and no one bothers you at all. No street pedelers (sp) or anything. The food tends to be $$ but not compared to NYC. The bus and ferry system is VERY easy to navigate, and they have a few companies that have excursion tours that you can do.

Punta Cana! For your price range you can live large there. The flight is maybe 3 and a half hours give or take. So many all inclusive and beautiful beaches. I got engaged there and am definetely biased but I love it there.
For my honeymoon FH wants to go somewhere really far so we're the opposite - hey your my date twin!

Pretty much anywhere in the Caribbean is a 3 hour flight, maybe 4 depending on connections.
I would HIGHLY recommend any of the Sandals resort - very exclusive and romantic! We're doing the one in the Bahamas, but I've heard great things about St. Lucia!
Also, try Aruba (FM Hpena - she went to an all-inclusive and her review goes into detail of the trip w/photos).

My cousin honeymooned at Sandals Bahamas - she loved it so much she just went back for her 30th birthday. Bahamas is definetely one of the shortest flights you'll find to the Caribbean!

I have heard that Costa Rica is beautiful , BUT I was told that end of June-July is the 'green' ( rainy ) season.
We are in the same boat, we can not decide on HM either. I am frustrated!

Hi! Im new to this and saw your your posting. Are you still looking for destinations? You have a lot of good ones so far. I personally have been to Key West and it is awesome! Stayed at a great bed and breakfast with own pool! What about somewhere in Mexico? Its not too far from NY either and there are some beautiful resorts and you dont feel like youre on spring break somewhere! I know how it is about the FH not liking long flights, mine is the same way ;) but just keep reminding him this is your honeymoon! I have a great rec for an agent if you dont have one. Let me know! anyways-------- bermuda and bahamas are short flights and both beautiful----i was also going to suggest mexico--but you've been-------i am going to jamaica and it's 3 hours to get there and i think a little longer to get home........
i loved barbados too..........good luck!!!!

TA? No, but that would be fun. I actually just moved to Ny about a year ago from KC, MO. My Fh and I want to go somewhere we have both never been and Aruba is a possibilty for us and we are even considering a mediterranean cruise. Have you gotten any closer to a decision?

we are going to aruba and the pricing was not bad at all I think it was around $4,000, my FH planned it. He made sure to ask for AAA discounts also, but I just don't know how long the plane trip is, but I am nervous too b/c it is only my second time on a plane Oh yeah and we are only going for a week

we went to virgin gorda in the british virgin islands for ours... it was like a 2 hour flight from here to pueto rico, then a half hour flight from puerto rico to tortola, then we got a ferry boat from tortola to our hotel on virgin gorda. we stayed at the Bitter end yacht club (beyc.com), and it was great. not super fancy rooms, but really laid back and the perfect place to relax for a week. it was all inclusive, so we could use their boats and waterspots all week for free, and all meals were included, too. everyday we would take one of their small motor boats out and go out to a small island nearby and we had the beach all to ourselves and we just had a great time there are also a few other hotels on virgin gorda that you could look into- little dix bay resort and biras creek resort are both nice as well...
