Re: Honeymoon - Tahiti
Hi! I'm going, but I like doing that sort of stuff my self. I'll do the tickets on line, and probably just book the intercontinental starwood hotels on line too. I noticed starwood also has on their website a honeymoon concierge.

Re: Honeymoon - Tahiti
I work for Starwood, so I planned it myself. Unfortunately employees can not use the honeymoon concierge, but it is a great resource.
I got my employee rates for the hotels and I booked my international and interisland flights myself.
We have been researching for a few months now and actually made a list of about 20 TA's (mostly online ones that specialize in Tahiti and south pacific). We are going to figure out our exact itinerary (which islands, how many nights on each, hotels, grade of room) and get quotes from all of them. Then we'll see the few who have the best rates and go from there! We'll probably contact them this Aug/Sept when the June '06 rates come out.
We're looking into the Pearl Resorts on both Moorea and Bora Bora and will probably do 4 nights on each island with 1 night in Tahiti (9 nights total). Good luck!!!

Re: Honeymoon - Tahiti
Used a private travel agent who did the research and found Tahiti Legends to have the best rates, though a number of them were all decently close in price. Definitely check out all the info that Tahiti-Explorer.com has to offer, though. It's a great starting point and their forum will answer most if not all of your questions. Whichever travel agent you choose, it'll most likely be expensive.

Re: Honeymoon - Tahiti
We researched ourselves, used agents online, and finally settled on a package with MSW. We checked out several other agencies such as In and Out and Liberty also.

Most airlines/hotels do not book more than 1 year in advance.

Re: Honeymoon - Tahiti
We booked ours through Costco (yes, they have a travel department!).
I got quotes from at least 10 different TA's and Costco came out the cheapest!

We are going to Tahiti. Spending 3 nights in an overwater bungalow in Moorea. Then taking a 10 day cruise. I am a travel agent so I booked it myself. FM me if you would like some info.

Re: Honeymoon - Tahiti
I booked through islandspree. They completely customized the itinerary for me and revised it dozens of times since I couldn't make up my mind They had the cheapest price for what I wanted.
