Honeymoon...CHECK!

So FI and I have been going back and forth debating whether or not we should go back to Jamaica (went there last Nov and it was the best vacation ever) or go somewhere new. I was leaning more towards somewhere new because it would be nice to experience different places. He made the argument about having the knowledge that we loved Jamaica and it would make the honeymoon much more relaxing knowing what we are in for.

So after posting to some ladies on LIW looking for awesome HM locations I decided I want Jamaica! So I called FI up and we have made our final decision...

Yeah Mon, we be going to Jamaica!

Congrats!!!! I LOVE Jamaica! FH and I went there last summer. Have you decided on what part of Jamaica?? We went to Negril...the beach was absolutely gorgeous!!!

Yes we will be going back to the Couples Swept Away resort in Negril. I just love the atmosphere there. Everyone is just so chill and friendly.

And I agree, the beach is phneomenal! And I never seen such calm water in my life. Besides the boats and jet skis going by making a few waves the waters were calm as can be.

And don't get me started on the frozen beverages!

That's great!!! FH and I stayed at Idle Awhile..it's actually a small boutique hotel right on the beach. I believe that it is owned by Couples Swept Away though. I would LOVE to stay at an all inclusive the next time we go there..the cost of the food and drinks really adds up so it would be nice to have AI !! I LOVED just laying on the floats given by the hotel in the calm water. It's so peaceful! You're going to have an amazing honeymoon!

Definitely book all-inclusive next time. Definitely worth the extra money. And especially with the way FI and I drink, we get our money's worth

can i just state how i was freaking out just looking at your post before even reading the entire thing...i want to book our HM sooooooooooooooo badly it isnt even right ahahhahahaha...but we cant yet and i thought you found a way....hahahahahahahaha

Sorry for giving you falsoe hopes

We are not planning on taking our HM until later in the year. Right after the wedding we will most likely be going on the yearly family cruise which SOO doesn't not count as the HM.

We are not planning on taking our HM until later in the year. Right after the wedding we will most likely be going on the yearly family cruise which SOO doesn't not count as the HM.

that's exciiting! We booked our HM a few months ago- we're going to Sandals St.Lucia for a week then on a week long cruise. I just check the price of our room (millionaire suite) and it went up $2000 since we booked! We just have to book flights

I also looked at some of the Sandals resorts in St. Lucia but I couldn't get to a date past January of 2010, let alone 2011. How did you book it? Did you use a travel agent or did you book it through their website?

Just saw this post from last month
I looked through the website & called to book we booked in maybe May??... I just put in 6-1-2011 through 6-8-2011 & the rooms/prices came right up!

OH yes! I was so sad to discover the most delicious drink on my last day there... Jamaican Browning... OMG I wish I was drinking those all week long!!
