Anyone else concerned about going to Mexico for their honeymoon and getting 'sick' due to the water out there? I have not really traveled out of the country too much so I am not sure what the do's and dont are out there. Can anyone enlighten me?
I have been to mexico many times and have never gotten sick. most rplaces will filter the water
a friend of mine just came home from mexico and she said they filter the water. she was scared also but when she go there she felt a lot better.

Mexico resorts are pretty americanized. When we went, I prepared for the worse, like brought antibotics and pepto bismal. But I didn't need any b/c I didn't get sick at all.
we were there christmas week with a big group of us. we actually had four people get sick! It was horrible, completely ruined their last 2 days there. THey don't think it was from the water, they think it was from the food. So just be careful! I dont really have any tips but just know that the food can be sketchy, even if its from a nice place and it looks good!
