honeymooning with a passport - new name

how are you planning this out?

i will be honeymooning a full 6 weeks after my wedding, but still not enough time for a new passport with my name change.

how does that work?

honeymooning with a passport - new name - Long Island Weddings

If your passport will still have your maiden name I would recommend waiting to switch everything else over until after your HM just so there is no issues. I am renewing my passport soon, and I will just have the name changed after the honeymoon (its free of charge if it's within the year) even though my HM is 8 weeks after I just don't want to risk it lol.

I'm using my maiden name to travel and won't switch anything over until after my honeymoon. It's just easier.
