We are going to New Orleans for a few days right after the wedding in March and then the land & cruise in Alaska. When are you going? We are about to decide which cruise line and the dates - probably a 12 day trip. What sold you on Princess? We were really leaning towards Celebrity but it's so hard to compare the different ships...
It's going to be spectacular up there. Hardly any darkness in the summer

We are planning on Italy too. Did you make your plans yet? We definately want to do at least a few days on the coast.
That's the cheapest I've seen so far.

C - When are you going?

Your trip sounds wonderful. Are you booking directly via web or some other means?

We haven't really started looking yet, we are getting married 9/14. I booked through American Express two years ago when I went to Florence, Rome and Sorento/Positano. They had great hotels. We will probably start with them and do some web searching.

Thanks for the information. We stayed in Sorento for one night - we drove from Florence its a hike! I will try to find the name of the hotel it was very nice but a little off the beaten path.

We are using either the Star Wars Theme or Dr. Who for the entrance, and We are in Love by Harry Connick Jr. for the cake cutting.

Thanks for the info Laura-it's very interesting to me. My fiance is Irish as well, his parents were born and raised there and my fi and his siblings lived there for 6 years as children. I would love to go to Ireland but our honeymoon would end up as 100% time with his relatives and I was hoping to make it more intimate. But I can't wait to go there, probably later this year or early next year. In the meantime, I will hopefully be meeting a handful of overseas relatives at our wedding on March 17th.

My FI and I were interested in your photography when we were choosing but wanted a few photograhers and videographers so our decidion was partially financial. Im sure you can understand. You do beautiful work, however.
