Honeymoons

Hi ladies, I have yet to book my HM and know I need to get on that ASAP. How did the majority of you ladies do it? Internet? Travel agent? Any suggestions??

internet travel agent! haha

I'd definitely use some sort of travel agent, whether it be in person or online -- in case anything goes wrong, you want to have someone to call!

Fh and I did it online. We researched all the hotels we were interested and picked the one with the best reviews.

I'm in the travel biz and used a travel agent. For most of my other vacations I will book online but didn't want to take any chances with the HM.

I will say I did rely a lot on trip advisor and other websites when we were going through the idea process.

I did it through both... researched some online travel agents and when I got the best price I printed out the info and went to someone at Liberty Travel. They beat the price so I went with them. Plus, I feel more comforable dealing with someone in person.

my friend is a part time travel agent. so much easier. he booked it, got the insurance, and hes looking for airfare. plus, its a cruise, so hes letting them know what dinner time we want, room type, how many people we want to sit with.

did tons of searching online and then ultimately we went with a travel agent.

we are using In & Out Travel, they are a vendor on here!

Im on the same boat as you.... We keep procrastinating.. 1 week of our HM is a timeshare given to us so we have to still figure out where to book it

I totally agree!! We booked through a travel agent. It just puts my mind at ease!

I first booked directly thru the cruise line only to find out that they had all these retarded rules and stuff. So, I ended up checking prices online and then calling cruisesonly.com

internet... but it took a WHOLE EVENING. We're island hopping, so it was 4 hotels, 3 flights... took forever to organize!

If you are a member of AAA they have a great travel agency and we have booked all our trips (including HM) though them!

They always have great discounts because they are such a well known name!
