im getting married dec 5, 2009 so since im a teacher, i was gonna go away christmas break to go on my hm but the prices are DOUBLE that week!! so i was thinking about waiting till im off the following feb bc the prices are much better. do u think 2.5 mths is too long to wait to go away????

No, I think it's a great idea to wait for when the prices are better! Plenty of people don't go on a HM right away.

maybe you can do a local weekend getaway. I hear everyone complain they should have booked a HM right away. Feb would be a better idea for flying.

I dont think its to late. If it works out better fo ryou do it! Maybe you will want to do a small getaway to vermont or a ski lodge for the weekend after the wedding.

I dont think it is to late. FH and I are taking a mini-moon right after we are married because of the hurricane season and then taking the other in Feb. on my break.

Me too!! You can do a weekend getaway just so you have some time alone with FH and then do the full blown honeymoon when its cheaper and works with your schedules. Lots of people wait to go on their HM.
