honeymoons

I know a bunch of you girls already booked your honeymoons.

FH and i went to a travel agent last night just to get some ideas and she said that the flights don't come out until 330 days before the return flight. Which pretty much means i can't book anything until the end of september.

Does this sound right?

yep...we have to wait until around July/August to book our flights as they dont come out with the schedules til about 10-11 months before

eta: but, we are booking everything else beforehand (hotels, etc)

yep thats right.

i stalk the travel websites everyday to see if they are selling for the end of April yet. they just started & i have to continue to wait until they open up for the beginning of May in order to book round trip.

yupp...but if you really want to you can book your hotel and the air after depending on how quick your hotel fills up

We already booked our honeymoon, but without the flights...If you contact a travel agent now (and sometimes even look on airlines websites) they can give you an idea of how much flights would cost, but you just cant book them until about 10 months before the trip...

I met with a travel agent @ a showcase last night and she told us the same thing. We can only book our hotel not our lflights. So I guess its normal.

I did the same thing, unfortunately that's the wau it is. I'm happy having it booked though and then just to deal with the flight later is fine with me, something to consider!
