Honeymoons in Ireland

Is anyone planning or has been on a honeymoon in Ireland? I am of Irish descent and my fiance is of Welsh descent. We would love to go back to our roots on our honeymoon. I don`t even know where to start planning. Any ideas? Thanks!

Honeymoons in Ireland

I haven''t been on a honeymoon there, but have been there on vacation. We used a lot of websites and a few guidebooks to help us. I can''t remember the websites, but the books were the basics - Fodor''s, Lonely Planet, Rough Guide. It was the best trip I ever took, a really lovely place and the people are so kind. I recommend the west coast over Dublin though, it is soooo beuatiful.
