Can anyone suggest 'cheap' honeymoons (or rather budget friendly honeymoons that don't skimp on quality and service)..... preferably all-inclusive beach resorts... we were originally trying to budget about $5K (including airfare) but with all the other wedding expenses quickly adding up, I'd like to see this figure drop drastically by a couple of K's.......
Any ideas?

Mine was around 3K. DR - Punta Cana - Secrets Excellence. But for around 5K you could probably do a lot more! I just bought a house and thats all we really wanted to spend!

FH and I are doing a Norwegian Cruise to the Bahamas. We got one of the best rooms with a balcony and it cost under 3k. I haven't gone on my HM yet but I've heard lots of great things about this cruise line.

I would def do a cruise...Royal carribbean is absolutely excellent....and it'll only cost u a couple grand...we're going to 4 different islands

We're taking a royal caribbean cruise from puerto rico to barbados, st. lucia, st. martin, st. thomas and antigua for $4K with airfare.

We went to Couples Sans Souci in Ocho Rios Jamaica for $3495 (airfare from JFK included).

Couples Resorts can usually fit in that price range in Jamaica---and the service is unbelievable. they are adults only all-inclusive
lots of resorts in the Dominican Republic can fit your price range!
also--check out cheapcaribbean.com you can search for specials on there!

We are doing a royal carribean cruise for 7 days for $4000 including airfare. We searched and searched online but Irene at Liberty Travel still got us a better deal. We even added a week in Aruba!! But a cruise would be the way to go. A TA should be able to promise you an upgrade for booking and it being your HM and all. Godd Luck

Aventura Spa Palace in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Most beautiful, friendly all-inclusive I've been to..
About $3500 for a week, the two of us, inc airfare, in June 07.
They treated us like GOLD. I can only imagine what they do for honeymooners - I think they get a free couples massage and a bottle of champagne... Snorkeling and kayaking on site...
