Honeymoon...very excited (kinda long)

A few months ago I posted that FH and I could not come to an agreement about what to do on our honeymoon...We just went to Mexico this summer, so we wanted to do something other than go to a beach somewhere...we're very active and constantly on the go...We were looking at Italy, but b/c we're paying for the wedding we feel that going to Italy right now is a little out of our price range...So, we're going to CA for two weeks and taking a road trip! We're flying into San Francisco (maybe)and spending 2 weeks driving north with stops at Yosemite, Red Woods National Forest, Napa, and finally we'll drive up to Mt. St. Helen's and hike it!...I'm really excited b/c I think we've reached the perfect compromise...We'll spoil ourselves, get to relax a little, and see things we've been talking about for years...Questions for those that have been out west: What are some hotels that you would recommend in San Francisco, Napa, Lake Tahoe that are kinda on the nicer side...like 4/5 stars?? Any help would be great.
