When doing your invites -- will you be using 'honour' or 'honor'. Same question for 'favour' or 'favor'.
Just curious....

Re: honour or honor?
Honour is proper for a more formal invitation.

I used honour, for favor I cant remember. I can check when I get home if you like though.

Re: honour or honor?
I'll be using honor. I think the use of the 'u' comes from the British English, we speak American English. I never use the 'u' in any of those words, so I wouldn't do things differently for the invites.

Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards, also. Seems more formal.

We used honor for this very reason.

Re: honour or honor?
I used honour on the invite, but on the reply card I forgot to change it so it says favor

Re: honour or honor?
We just had this whole debate in my house. I liked Honor more but was worried it wasn't appropriate. I ended up using in though, because no matter how hard I tried I couldn't learn to like the Honour. I think (hope) its jsut all a matter of preference.

I used honour and favour. I think either way looks nice, just make sure you use the same for each

Re: honour or honor?
We used honor, though honour is the more formal, British spelling. Either is fine, but it depends how formal your wedding is going to be.

I was a lunatic with my wording-go to crane's etiquette on line-for more formal invites, it should read honour and favour.
