hoop slip help needed !!!!

hoop slip help needed !!!!

I wanted my gown big. I ordered a ball gown and a huge hoop slip. Well, I went to try my gown on today and I looked like little bo peep, not scarlett o hara as I had envisioned. Without the hoop slip, I wanted the gown to be just a bit more full. Is there a smaller hoop slip I can get???

Originally, the salon mixed the top of one gown with the bottom of another gown, so when I tried the dress on, I had the a-line gown underneath my ball gown.

What kind of hoop slip can I get that would match the fullness of what I had(the a-line gown under the ball gown)???

How many hoops was the slip you tried on? Maybe you an get one with less hoops. I also know that you can adjust the circumference (hoopiness) on some slips.

Some hoop skirts are adjustable. That way you can get as much fullness you want.

Try looking at one of the Civil War re-enactment suppliers.... do a search on GOOGLE for sutler. I have used Crescent City, when I used to do re-enactments.
