Went to 2 today in westchester... The Bridal Shop and Meme's and I cannot even begin to tell you how horrible the service was... The bridal shop was so disorganized... They helped pick out a few gowns for me and then let me be... I'm like... uhh is someone coming with me? i need to be clipped... my MOM clipped half the gowns for me.. I couldnt get over how disorganized and how absolutely unhelpful they were... I also had to unzip all the bags and try on the gowns BY MYSELF.... I actually broke a sweat...
Meme's basically told me that I needed an appt... I was like well can I look around anyways? They agreed and then my mom asked where the MOB gowns were and the woman is like 'OH lets just worry about the bride first' Like are you kidding me? I also had a girl like hovering over me like I was gonna steal a gown or something...
I could go on and on about these 2 places... Just completely disgusted...

Oh yuck! It's always shocking to hear how employees who work in stores where each customer has the potential to spend big bucks there are rude!

how do these places stay in business?!? i had a similar experience at a shop in PA and couldn't believe it - i would think you'd be all over the bride, sweet as sugar!

Thast what amazes me.... I think I was spoiled at RK, macys, and this store in connecticut that I totally didnt think there were bridal shops that operated that way!

Wow- that *****. You would think these women would be kissing your a$$ because you are buying a gown. I don't get why so many people have bad experiences at bridal shops.

We had a problem like that in aug for fsil wedding. It was at a place in brooklyn. They left us alone and wouldnt help! And she had like 6 bm!!

R u talking about the bridal shop in Mamaroneck?? I went there too. They basically make all there business online. When I went ther customer service was ok. I showed her pictures of what I wanted but she ended picking out more of what she thought would look nice. I would one purchase my there just for the price.

Would you go shoping in brooklyn? I purchase my gown at Valentina's Bridal. They have beautiful gowns and the owner makes gowns too and he has a beautiful collection.
I am seriously so confused as to why so many bridal shops have such bad servive. This is supposed to be one of the happiest times in our lives, and I am absolutely TERRIFIED to go dress shopping because of all the horrible things that I am hearing people are going through. I am sorry this happened to you Gina.
