so i was thinking of renting a dress.. i found a place in brooklynn that does this so today i went.. big mistake -- big waste of time -- they didnt really have anything in my size so she said if i saw something in the book she could order it for me but it would take 6 months to come.. when it came in wether or not i liked it i would be stuck with it.. b/c the wedding would be in 6 months. .the thing is that ment i would never be able to see the dress .. she didnt even have a sample in a smaller size...
then we went to some other place and the dress are just to much money i cant afford them...
im very drepressed and upset and not having a good day at all

David's Bridal is having their $99 sale. I bought my dress during this sale last year and I love it and it was very affordable!!!

What about having it made? I saw several brides on here had their dresses made and they came out great and they were so much less expensive!

You can definitely get a gorgeous dress for a good price
Check out david's bridal--I went just 'to look' and fell in
LOVE with 4 dresses & had a tough time & choosing!!

How about trying on dresses at other salons, finding the one you want, and then go back and see if you can rent it? Otherwise I would try David's Bridal. If you don't mind me asking, how much are you looking to pay? You can try the BM dress idea too. Do you know of anyone who got married that still has their dress in good condition? That could be your 'something borrowed'.

you may be going to the wrong bridal shops some places carry only high end gowns
i can recommend some places that sell reasonably priced gowns...you can get a gorgeous dress for 400-600 at estelles, renates, burtons, davids and many other places

Some BM dresses are so beautiful and could be worn as a wedding dress, you would just have to order it in white or ivory...just an idea!
I was going to suggest this as well. This is definitely something to think about. It could save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Hang in there and don't give up! Your dress is out there and you will find it.
