Horrible, horrible news!

One of my bridesmaids died yesterday...29 yrs old..she was suffering from some tumor in her windpipe, which was inoperable...she and her husband were married oct 04 and she got sick 2 months later and since then has been either in the hosp in an induced coma, or in and out for treatment, which didn't work...i feel so bad for her husband also, only enjoyed married life for 2 months til she got sick....it's a sad day for our group of friends, and whenever i see her bm dress hanging in my closet, it makes me think of how short life is...thanks for reading..

thanx for the support girls...it is tragic and i really feel for her DH..he's one of my fh best men (he has 2), and we live a couple of houses down from them...it's just really upsetting to see him alone now, especially so close to our wedding, it's like i don't want to talk about our wedding plans in front of him so as not to make him feel bad, and i just mailed out the invites yesterday addressed to 'mr and mrs. martinez,' but of course it was the right thing to do..we kept hope that she would pull through....and she's definitely in a better place...she was on a ventilator for a while since she couldn't breathe on her own, and kept her sedated so she wouldn't pull the breathing tube out...it's just sad

- my heart goes out to Her husband, family and freinds

the poor guy- so young to be a window- watching my dad go thru losing my Mom was harder on me that losing her myself- and it's something I always have in the back of my mind that one day either Jake or I will have to be in that situation

truely a heart breaking story!
