Re: Horse and Carriage
Honeslty ... I dunno it its worth the money but im debating on doing it anyway. When u talk about making a GRAND entrance.. that is def a way to do it. the only thing holdng me back is the fact that im having a Nov. wedding and who knows what the weather will be like.
Most likey I will end up doing it and keeping another limo on standby just incase. Good Luck

I was on the fence about this also.
Thinking it's my day to be a 'Princess' and why not go all out and then another voice tells me, it's not worth the $$.
It will probably be a last minute thing if I decide to do it.

My sentiments exactly.
personally--not my cup of tea at all. BUT if it's what YOU want, then it's worth it

Re: Horse and Carriage
i know someone that did this in october or november, I can't remember...but she went from her church all the way to the receoption hall 5 miles away...and it snowed the whole way!!!! She was freezing and in a strapless dress....
If you are going to do it, just take into consideration everything that could happen...

Re: Horse and Carriage
well for me it wasnt worth the $1500 to go literally 1 1/2 blocks (my church is around the corner from my house) but if my church was a little farther I think i would have considered it if i had the extra $$

Re: Horse and Carriage
I've been in a horse and carriage with a bride-to-be and I have to say, the smell is enough to make you want to jump off. Even if the carriage is absolutely spotless when you get on (which ours was), no more than a few minutes later did our horse 'do the do' so to speak.
It is a very romantic way to make an entrance, but your photos won't be worth much if your nose is upturned when you arrive. Just something to consider.
