Hot as a baker
so I went on a stroll down W. Broadway for lunch...half looking for a bday gift for a friend and half looking for inspiration for our home improvements.
I came upon a bustling little bakery/market. I ordered my sandwich and began drooooooling at all of the other yummy breads and pastries they had available.
I was interrupted out of my reverie by a smile...a seriously LOVELY smile attached to a similary describable face.
I was so flustered that I mumbled something about 'all that bread' and knocked my bottle of diet Pepsi off the counter and sent it rolling.
His hotness, the bread baker/bun kneader, smiled EVER BIGGER, and went off to get me a new bottle.
he came around the counter to hand it to me and I was now so mortified, that I couldn't even make eyecontact as I smiled and thanked him.
I had been feeling kinda ******. He seemed very bemused by me, which for some reason, made me feel better about myself. Highly embarrassed, but better.
and the sandwich is DEVINE. I will definitely be going back...with my game, which was very absent.![]()
