hot oil treatment?

Has anyone ever done the v05 hot oil treatment on their hair? If you have, how did it work? Did it shine afterwards? Im long overdue for a cut and my hair is looking so dull lately...will this restore the shine? Make it look healthier?? Thanks!

I like the hot oil one that you use in the shower... i forget what its called. But the heat of the shower activates it (also by VO5) My hair was very soft and shiny afterwards!
I never used the regular hot oil treatment.

I have done it on mine and didn't like the results - too greasy afterwards, no matter what I did it didnt want to completely come out! But some girls swear by it. If you're not sure you may want to try a home remedy sort of thing first ( I know some involve egg, mayo, etc) if it doesn't work then no big deal.

Yep, I've used the small tubes and they work very well! You're supposed to use it before shampooing, so you wash away the residue. My hair is noticably nicer afterwards but it only lasts a few days.

I used the VO5 Hot oil shower works hair treatment.

You use it in the shower and the heat from the shower activates it. Its great.

You wet hair, then put 1/4 of the container in your hair (it has little markings) and let it soak in for 1 minute. Then wash it out.

Then proceed with regular shampoo and conditioner.

I love the shower works hair treatment. I use it once a week and it made my hair look so healthy. I have naturally curly hair and my curls looked so good. I looked like I just came out of a salon

I would definatly suggest this product to anyone

I see no difference yet..should I blow dry it? I usually let my hair air dry but will i see some sort of difference if i dry it???

I always dry my hair so don't go by me. I actually see the difference on my second washing and blowdry.

If you do it every week you'll see a huge difference in your hair! My hairdresser highly recommends them!

I always dry my hair, except in the summer. In the summer I usually just let it dry naturally

For next time, I found the best product is the deep conditioner from frizz eze. It has hot oil treatment in it I believe. You wash your hair & leave it in for at least 20 minutes (even though it says 3 minutes on the package). I have dry curly hair, so I let it dry naturally, but it works for me.
