What about the Dominican Republic? We went in Jan of this year and it was high 80s/low 90s every day

I don't know if you want to go this far, but Uruguay and Argentina are hot in January. My family is from Uruguay and a very nice place to go there is Punta Del Este.

T you have to be careful with some places in the Bahamas in Jan. they can have the same weather as FL. so it could end up being chilly. Also some 'warm' spots have a rainy season in Jan. I would check with your travel agent to be sure

We were told by the Travel Agent to go as close to the equator as possible. If we have a cold winter here, they will have a cold winter also. She didn't recommend Bahamas, Keys, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands. She said Cayman was a pretty good chance of warm weather along with Mexico. Guarantees are St. Lucia(our final decision), Dominican Republic and Antigua.
