I don't know what to do for the hotel. The ceremony is in Babylon and the reception is at the Westbury Manor. We have some people coming in from out of town and I don't know what Marriott to block rooms at, close to my moms or the reception. I don't think they offer a shuttle either. Ugh, this is so stressful.

We blocked rooms at the LI Marriott in Islandia. We didn't book shuttle service with them but I am pretty sure they do it. They add the cost onto the nightly rate of each room. I don't know what the shuttles are like though but the hotel was very nice. Pretty rooms and nice and clean.

I would block by the RH. I think that makes the most sense because you don't want people to drink and drive from the reception right? I wouldn't mind driving a long distance to the church...just my two pennies!

We blocked the Marriot in Islandia as well. They were 159 per night with shuttle service in August. We have quite a few people staying overnight too. They just renovated everything. The hotel is really nice!

Block by the RH. When they are going to the church they will be sober, it will be early. But when they are coming home after drinking and partying after a long day you want to keep their rides short.
We had to get a shuttle ourselves. Try Coach USA or some limo companies do buses.

When I looked there they said we had to pay for the shuttle separately but they would help me line it up?

We blocked the Garden Inn Hilton since its right near the RH. We included teh shuttle but we are paying seperatly for that. We didnt want it included in the hotel room price for the guests since its something we added.

That is wierd! It was included in my contract that shuttle service would be provided by them and included in the price of the room. I am going to call them again because I'm nervous now.

Interesting. Let me know. I am just curious because I would have gone with them if that had been the case for me, but they definitely didn't say that. Instead I went with the Hyatt because I got the same room rate at both.

I just called and spoke with Kerri who booked me and she said that transportation was included in the 159 price. I wonder why they told you that ,unless it has changed over the last few months that is wierd! Either place is very nice though
