Should I include pricing?

Say that rooms are reserved at a special rate?

Thanks ladies!

I would include pricing and tell them that the special rate is only held until such and such a date... my hotel will hold that rate until a month before. This way people book sooner rather than later.

ets: my grammer was effed up

I would definitely include the special rate and your names or a code they have to refer to when they reserve.

i put the price and that it is a special rate that is only being up to 30 days in advance. that way my guests dont wait too long and then get charged a higher rate.

How about something like:

We have reserved rooms at

Hotel A at the rate of $, Please refer to code blah blah when calling.
Hotel A Info here.

and

Hotel B at the rate of $, Please refer to code blah blah when calling.
Hotel B Info here.

Also, add in if they have to reserve by a certain date.

No... include away. It's easier than having people call up themselve and get all confused.

We're including cards from the hotel where we blocked rooms. But I've usually seen something like this...

For your convenience, the following hotel accomodations are available to you:

Hotel 1
Addy & Phone # & cost per night

Hotel 2
Addy & Phone # & cost per night

And so on.....

ETA: If at one of the hotels that you're listing you have rooms blocked, include the info they'll need to get a blocked room.

do people normally put more than 1 hotel on the accommodations insert??

just curious bec i am blocked at La Quinta/Wingate and wasn't sure if I should list other hotels in that area?? I mean the room rate is pretty good so I don't think htey will get that any where else

Thats exactly what i was thinking? Block at one hotel but put another just in case (but dont officially put a block there)?

We are because we reserved a lower end hotel and a higher end hotel. Giving people more options (we also have a ton of people from OOT and they dont know the area at all)

Did you actually block rooms at both hotels? or just listed the other hotel?

Yes, both. Because we are getting married in a summer-town where people vacation, and its a Saturday evening. We wanted to make sure rooms would be available at both....

Sure! Of course you can! You can book as many as you want! Unfortunately there are only really 2 hotels close to our RH.

It doesn't cost anything
