hotel block

hotel block

Is anyone NOT.. doin a hotel block? We hardly have any out of town guests and the ones that are dont need hotel rooms. and FH and I are stayin at the bed and breakfast at the INN .. so Do I need to block any rooms?

I am not doing one- i have hardly any OOT guests either. there is only 1 person who asked about a hotel and I gave her the info on the closest ones.

I recently went to a wedding where there was no room block. It was no biggie for us.

I think if most of your guests are local, then it shouldn't be a big deal. For the few OOT guests you have, maybe you can help them find a couple of nearby hotels. Other than that, I wouldn't worry about it.

we didnt... we had a few oot guests but they were all my family and everyone stayed with someone else in the family... none of them would have ever paid for a hotel

only reason we booked was because all of his GM are staying the night since they aren't going to want to go home after such a long day.........and his parents are staying over with their brothers/sisters/family from Italy and going back the next day. We didn't make a block for the guests, just our BP and his family.
