Hotel Block

So, I've been reading a lot of posts that booking the hotel block was the hardest thing and didn't know I'd have the same problems!

I'm on 4 of 6 appointments and have not found a hotel that I want to book my block with yet.

Suggestions or experiences would be great.

I'm getting married at Timber Point, so no close to hotel to the RH. My criteria is that they offer shuttle to/from MacArthur Airport. Preferably eastern LI and not western.

We are blocking ours at the Hilton in Melville... it's beautiful! and they are renovating all of the rooms this winter. We got a rate of 144 for a Sat night. I believe they have shuttles but I didn't get any information from them about it since we are having buses. Good luck! HTH

I don't know how far you want it from Timber Point, but did you try The Hauppauge hotels, like Hyatt and Marriott? I'm going with the Hyatt, and loved my sales manager Laura. She was very helpful and we got a great price per room!

I booked mine at the Marriott in Ronkonoma. It was super easy. Everyone has been so nice and so helpful. Shuttle included with 10 rooms.

Im booked at the Hyatt regency in Hauppauge.
The have a shuttle to and from the air port and so far that have been easy t work with.

I did a block at the Sheraton Motor Parkway, Hauppauge for $119 per night. They have been very easy to work with. There is a shuttle available for airport pickup / dropoff.

Thanks ladies. I was happy with my appt tonight at the Hilton garden inn in ronkonkoma. And have another appt with Laura at the Hyatt in hauppauge tom. Think I can finally make a decision. Appreciate the help!

Not sure how far you want to be but have you tried the Courtyard Mariott? I think its $159 a night....
