Hotel Block - East End

I've been calling Hotel Indigo and the Holiday Inn for over a week now and leaving messages and have gotten NO calls back...

Did any of the Giorgio's/East Wind girls have an issue with this? Any suggestions?

The only hotel out there that's been able to give me info was the Hilton but it doesn't have a free shuttle which I def. need.

I used Hotel Indigo for my block and didn't have much of a problem returning calls. Ask for Lauren, she was so great to work with.

We are using the Hilton. We will just get our own shuttle. The Holiday Inn shuttle isn't for ALL they guests, I think it covers maybe half of them. And yes, the holiday inn was very difficult to get in touch with. And when we went there to see it, it wasn't as nice as the Hilton. Also it was more $$. And the girls at the desk weren't very professional. They were all smoking outside when we walked in, so there was no one at the desk, and we stood there for a min then they all came in.
Hotel indigo wasn't even open when we were booking our block, but the prices I saw on a website were pretty high, so I thought even with a discount it would be too much for my guests.

I am using both but I prefer HGI. It is much nicer looking and although they do not have a bridal suite they have a huge king room with a jacuzzi that is almost the same size.

We are using Holiday Inn Express....they beat HGI price by $60/night and Indigo's price by $100/night...they provide shuttles for ALL your guests if you are a Giorgio's bride whether you need 2 14 passenger vans, or a coach bus. If you are NOT a Giorgio's bride, that is when they only provide 1 14 passenger van. Plus they provide free continental breakfast for all guests. We realized more of our guests would stay overnight if the price was more affordable, especially our BP who is from mostly out of state.

That's so funny because the HIE charge me $60 more than HGI and our weddings are around the same time! These hotels are so unpredictable.

I'm going to have to ask HIE about shuttles because they didn't mention anything to me about one.

I went online and got a price for next year at HIE and went back to them and told them if they didn't beat that price by a good amount I was going elsewhere.

What were you quoted for at each hotel? Also, I'm Columbus Day Weekend, so it was a little tricky....

I was quoted $159 at HIE, $229 at HGI and $299 Indigo....but keep in mind HIE provides all my shuttles free b/c I'm at Giorgio's, which was another huge plus in their column...if I had to pay for shuttles, I may have gone with the slightly nicer hotel....

Plus, $139 for HGI is AWESOME!! I wish that was the price for my weekend, b/c I would have been sold....

I find it's easier to deal with the hotels in person...they are all terrible at calling back....

Im a Giorgios bride and booked Holiday Inn. I was quoted $199 including shuttle but Its higher bc its a July wedding. I had no problem getting through, Ask for Kristin she is great! good luck

I never heard back from Indigo or Holiday Inn and I complained to them when I saw them at the EW Bridal Show and they promised someone would call me but so far no calls. I'm surprised management hasn't stepped in with such bad customer service!
