So how do hotel blocks work? I have to call soon band get info from the Hilton garden inn close to my venue but I'm out of town for the week so I don't want to do it until I get back but I would love some info from you guys. I literally have no clue how they work, do you have to guarantee rooms, pay a deposit? Thanks!

Re: Hotel block help
It depends on the hotel .. i booked my hotel block at a hilton garden inn..this is the info i got you can book 10 rooms for free (block off i mean) anything above the 10 rooms you are required to fill half of them so if you block 20 you need to fill 10..you would be financially responsible for the 10 so if 8 rooms are booked you pay for 2 of them if you block 20..hope that makes sense
