hotel block wwyd...
FH has an aunt from seattle WA coming for the wedding...she is not close with FH or even FH's family...she moved to WA to get away from the family. I personally imagine her not showing up and blaming flight issues but FH says I am crazy.
Anyway, turns out she didnt book a hotel room yet and being 12 days away they no longer offer the room block rate. the room rate was $129 and it is now $179. yes its a huge diff and i do feel bad but this isnt a surprise wedding...she had the info for a year and a half. FH wants to call the hotel and see if they will honor the rate (which i was already told no to when i called under diff circumstances). he basically said he wants to demand that they honor the rate and i am telling him not to. i do understand it cant hurt to ask, but he can not demand it. we need the hotel to do us a favor and give 8 bridal party/family rooms early check in and late check out so i dont need them to honor the rate and screw us with that.
wwyd? let FH make the call and hope he isnt demanding or convince him to drop it so they take care of us the day of the wedding???
