Hotel Blocks

Hotel Blocks

Should I bother to block rooms for my guests or should I let them take care of it. I have about 10 OOT guests but most of them have family that thay can stay with in NY so I not sure if I should even bother.

Eh I would do it anyway but do it at a hotel that doesn't penalize you or charge you if your rooms aren't booked. That way they have options!

Is their family going to the wedding? If not they may not want to stay with them...

Some people that live in NY may also want to stay in the hotel if it's much closer to the RH. FH and I did this for his brothers wedding bc we didn't want to drive hom!

you might want to at least give them the option-sometimes people from around here will choose to stay in a hotel to avoid driving etc.

ITA! And most hotels won't penalize you so I say go for it.

i would do it just as a courtesy as a guest....we are going to a wedding this weekend and they hadn't blocked rooms...we had no idea where we should stay. It would have been nice to know which hotel is close but still nice...

I agree with the other girls. I'd do it as an option for them. If they don't book a room, no big deal. Just make sure you block at a hotel that doesn't make you guarantee.
