Hotel Blocks by North Ritz

Hi girls!

We recently booked our wedding at North Ritz!!! And my FH's family is from NJ (2+ hrs away) so I'm sure we're going to need a decent amount of rooms!

Does anyone recommend any reasonable hotels close by? Good/bad experiences? Quotes?

They recommended Mariott in Farmingdale but I think that might be far... FM me if you have any info to share!

PS all of the 2012 brides on this site have been sooooo helpful already!!! Thanks in advance! :O)

I went to a wedding there a couple of years ago and the bride and groom reserved rooms at the 4 points sheraton in plainview and it was an amazing hotel! HTH!

The wedding I went to in April the hotel blocks were at the four points in Plainview. She said she picked it because there was a bar in there and not many hotels have bars.

We are booking at the Huntington Hilton.. rate is $125 a room and the shuttle is $425 plus gratuity.. they have a bar open til 2am and then restaurants for breakfast and private rooms for a brunch the next morning if you have more than 25 people..

we stayed there for another wedding and everything was great.

I have also heard good things about the Melville Marriott which is about $110 per night I think..

I went to my FH's Installation Dinner last year at North Ritz and we stayed at the Best Western down the block, it was nice. There is also another hotel the other direction in Syosset that seems nice.
