Hotel contract question

Hey Ladies,

So I recently signed my hotel block contract with Fox Hollow. I didn't do much researching on hotel blocks and pricing, etc. since I'm tired of doing so much researching and stressing over having to decide from everything. So afterwards, when I'm telling my mother the price she reminds me that this is a lot of money esp for some of my family members. So now I'm having buyers remorse and I'm wondering if theres anyway I could get out of the contract. Or if anyone has any opinions on what I could do.

I have 10 rooms blocked off at Fox Hollow Inn with 3 on 7/31 and 7 on 8/1 (my wedding night). I only need 7 of these to be booked and I technically have 2 so far since I have one room both days. I'm thinking about possibly getting another room block at the Executive Inn or Best Western of Woodbury, I think both have a shuttle and possibly breakfast. Fox Hollow's has breakfast, no shuttle. I don't know the prices of the other two yet but just from me checking online its $200 cheaper a night

Hotel contract question - Long Island Weddings

You should be able to talk with them about the contract if in fact you want to release a certain number of rooms and have a smaller block at Fox Hollow. Executive Inn does have a shuttle and breakfast included (don't remember if there's a minimum needed for the shuttle or not). Both Exec. Inn and Best Western should definitely be cheaper than Fox Hollow if you want to a second block a either of those hotels. Executive Inn I think is the cheapest, but looks it. Check them out in person before you make any decisions.

Hotel contract question - Long Island Weddings

fox hollow gets booked out so far and gets booked up most nights due to how many weddings they hold each night-- if you tell them soon they may help you out of the contract? it's worth a call.....
