Hotel Coordinator

For those who had a block of rooms at a hotel... did you have a hotel coordinator/group sales person that you dealt with? If so, did you tip them?

I don't think a tip is necessary.

their job is to organize the group of rooms and the other activities for your wedding guests that they are paying for, but they would do the same thing for any type of group that is staying at the hotel.

Yes. We have a block of rooms at the Allegria Hotel and we had to work w/ a special sales person for weddings. It was hard getting a hold of them too!

we have a coordinator we are working with and she has been great! But i was not planning on tipping her...i guess i never really gave it any thought...
