Hotel Drama

So I found out today that all of the rooms at our hotel are booked for our weekend, and I know of at least one guest who called and couldn't get a room... I feel really bad about it.. Now we gave most of our guests ample time to book a room, we even gave the hotel info in the save the dates because we were worried that this might happen. They got the invitations in mid march and it said on there that they had to book by april 12th... so everyone was forewarned, and in fact we have over 50 rooms booked already, but I still do feel badly for people who are a little late in the booking and can't stay at the hotel, because we're going to have a shuttle and everything. I know its not my fault, but you know how it is, you want everyone to be accomodated and able to have fun

I know its not a major major problem, but I'm sad...any words of wisdom?

i can understand your upset but you did say on the invites book by 4/12..

people always do that wait until the last minute then try to get severything done. dont stress out.. is there any other hotels that are close by?

is there another hotel around the area? maybe you can see if you can grab some rooms there this way the rest of the ppl can be together?!

even maybe the shuttle can do a stop there this way ppl can still drink and not worry about a ride!

i know this isn't exactly the BEST scenario.....

but can you try and get some family members coming from OOT to double up in the rooms? like if there's a double bed in the room, can cousin tom & his wife share a room with cousin Sally and her husband? that way everyone can be in the same hotel for the shuttle?

thanks ladies... there is another hotel in the area that i was going to recommend to people who can't get a room, but maybe I should actually call them and see if I can set aside a few rooms...
