Can anyone suggest a nice hotel in either Nassau/Suffolk/Manhatten to stay in for the wedding night? My FH wants to go back to our place but I'm not having it!!!

the garden city hotel! i got a great deal there, and their staff is super nice!
I tried to book a room there for 10/13/07 and they are completely booked according to their website
NOOOOO you HAVE to call!!
they said they were booked a YEAR in advance for my date - and i was like NO ONE plans this early. . so i checked the weekend after and before - all booked.
I called up and they had like 90% of their rooms FREE! the lady didnt know why it was like that but she said maybe they want people to call instead
i booked the wedding pleasures package - i cant wait!
I just called...no rooms available on the day that I wanted. Does anyone have any other suggestions on Long Island???
Thanks

If you really like it at GCH, ask them to put you on their alt list - if they get a cancellation they will call you. I personally never stayed at Glen Cove Mansion but went to check them for my RH. It looks nice & has a different ambiance from a regular hotel
