Did any of you run into the problem of having your hotel sold out before you sent your invites out???

I blocked 10 rooms at a hotel originally because I was responsible for 60% of the rooms if they were not booked. So, I contacted them to find out how many rooms have been booked and if I can add more rooms. They responded that half of my block is booked and the hotel is all sold out for Friday and Saturday night! So beyond my block, nothing is available!! Has anyone run into this problem? What did you do?!

I'm in a panic that the accommodations card is going to be somewhat invalid because of this

this is crap they are supposed to hold the 10 until a month before!? do you have a contract?

I do have a contract, and they have set aside the 10 for me, but now my block is almost booked or completely booked because I notified everyone I could to book their rooms. So now there is no way to add any more rooms!

What about adding an additional room block at a hotel that does not require you to be responsible for any percentage of unbooked rooms? There are definitely other hotels not far from Fox Hollow, I would book another 10 rooms someplace else to give guests the option if they still need accommodations. The second hotel should give you enclosure cards when you set up a block, just use those since its too late to change your accommodations card and update your wedding website if you have one.
