hotel help

Hey there...we are having our wedding at bridgeview yacht club and are trying to search out a hotel for our out of town guests..any suggestions out there? bridgeview is in island park..looking for something maybe in RVC..thanks so much

the only ones in RVC are the Best Western (On Sunrise)... i wasn't that impressed with them.. their rates were really high. Hampton Inn (on Merrick, when it starts to change over to Lynbrook) us much nicer, but unfortunately I found their rates even higher. both hotels do offer a AAA or AARP discount....

I ended up booking the Wingate Inn in Garden City because it's closer to my hall. I looked into these though for days before the wedding (I live in Baldwin) and they both were quoted me from $139.00 to $199.99 I was like ARE YOU KIDDIN ME? for a Thursday night in February???

When I met with the sales people at Best Western, they were not very motivated to try and get me to book.... didn't seem that interested. Hampton Inn, much better in that regard.

Unfortunately, overall, there are not too many quality hotels on the South Shore, so good luck!
