does anyone know the name of the hotel In Rockville Center oN Sunrise Highway??? It used to be a Holiday Inn... thanxx!!

I beleive its a Best Western now and there is also a Hampton Inn right next to it was well, but I don't think its directly on Sunrise Highway. I know my brother and SIL used the Hampton inn for their wedding guests and it was very nice.

But I passed buy one the other day and I was like... I thought that this was a Qualtiy Inn???
And the name was changed... but it wasn't Hampton inn or Best Western I don't think... It was like a no name that I didn't recognize...
Maybe if you call 411, its on the corner of ocean ave and Sunrise right???

Do any of you ladies have experience with any of these hotels? I plan to visit one or two hotels but it would be helpful if I received some guidance to help narrow down my search. I like the fact that the LIRR is walking distance from the Best Western, Hampton Inn and Sunrise Executive (so my guests can get to the city easily if they'd like). Any thoughts on these three?
(At least one of them looks like a 'short stay' hotel to me so I'd really like to hear your opinions).

My FILs stayed at the Best Western on Sunrise once... They had to stay in a smoking room b/c the non-smoking ones were booked. (They knew this when they reserved the rooms)
To be honest, I was unimpressed -- Also, the train runs RIGHT behind the hotel. It's not exactly quiet and relaxing there.
Just my experience there. They appeared to be nice, etc.

I have never stayed in any of these hotels but I was thinking about using one of them because my reception is in Island Park. I dont like the sunrise exec hotel because I just think its ugly but apparently they are doing a bunch of renovations so they sound like they are improving it. I also dont really like the locations of the other two, but I have had nothing but great experiences at any Hampton Inn I have stayed at. I prefer to stay at a hampton inn over almost any other mid-priced chain hotels because they always have really nice, clean rooms and the most comfy beds!!

I looked into all three for my wedding b/c I live in Lynbrook and my church is in Lynbrook. I wound up going with the Sunrise Executive Hotel (name being changed to Rockville Centre Inn). I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I went in. They are doing renovations at the one across the street, which I think goes by a different name. I thought they had said they'd be done with the renovations by June, but looks like it might be longer than that. We are actually staying at the Hampton Inn on our wedding night.

The old Holiday Inn..I guess it's the Best Western now I wouldn't recommend...I heard it's more of a welfare hotel....a lot of families etc who can't afford apartments etc stay there..not sure if this has changed or not....
