Hi Ladies - I am compiling a document for my OOT Guests about the hotels where I have rooms blocked. Did anyone mail or email this out to their guests before the invitations went out?? I was considering doing that and also putting some information when I send out the invitations - any thoughts??

We sent out Save the Date packets that included a lot of that information....

i wouldnt email it -- too many people dont check their emial and its a little informal.
I included all my hotel info in the invitations.

Thanks ladies - I didnt do STD's and people are already asking me about hotels so I didnt know whether or not to wait until I sent out invitations or do it earlier.

I emailed the link to our wedding website for OOT'ers.... it had all hotel and travel info in it.....
since about 30% of our guests will be staying at hotels, we also mailed out the invitations much earlier than usual... we sent them out on 2/14... The directions card had our contact info for booking hotels....

I think it depends on your guests. If you are inviting people who are on the computer all day o at least check their email regularly they won't mind finding your hotel accommodations on a website or in an email. If not, it's probably best to just include it in your invitation (but mail them early). If some are asking there are even more who want to know.

i put all info on our wedding website.
the guests have the website from our save the date.

Hi There,
I made a separate card and sent it out with our invites, we also got our invites out early because we had ppl coming from all over including internationally.
If you have hotel blocks arleady, I think it's polite to respond to guests who've inquired, and email is fine.
I'd just also send a formal communication with the invites.
Our wedding website was also very helpful to people.

Most people that are going to stay at the hotel knew in advance - but we also sent the info in the invitation for those didn't inquire before hand

I used designhergals.com to make cute stationary and sent out a mailing to our guests.

We included it in the OOT's Save The Dates but everyone will be recieving on in their wedding invitations.
