Hotel near Chateau La Mer

Hello, I am getting married at Chateau La Mer in Lindenhurst in September 2011. I have a lot of guests coming from out of town and from the city, thus, a hotel is very important. I am not familiar with the area and I was wondering if anybody can suggest any hotels that have 1) shuttle service 2) bar 3) block room rates. Thanks so much.

Courtyard of Marriott in Farmingdale.

We got married at CLM and used them and they were AWESOME!!!!!!! Great hotel block...great customer service...they provide free shuttles if you have at least 10 rooms...they give you and your husband a free room if you have 15 rooms. They will open the bar if you have a lot of people staying there and will keep it open later.

For us, it was a Sunday, and we only had like 10-11 rooms and didnt set up the late bar, BUT they let us all chill in the lobby drinking until like 330am. I had friends come chill who werent staying there so it was a lot of people and we were loud. They were cool. They let us bring our own beer and liquor. Highly recommend them!!!!!

I just spoke with that hotel and they said their bar is not open on Sundays. But if they are cool with us BYOB and hanging in the lobby that sounds awesome!

I am curious, did you have your wedding at CLM in the new upstairs room? If so, how did you like. I have yet to see.

Yeah I guess that's why the bar wasn't open, but they were totally cool with us hanging out and drinking in the lobby. It was really fun!

No, we had it dowstairs. I saw pictures of the new room and it looked gorgeous. You have no worries at CLM. The service, food, everything was superb! People keep raving about our wedding and saying it was the best they've been too!!! LOVE them so so much!!

we used the Marriott too. We had a Saturday night wedding and the bar closed at 2am. We hung out in the lobby with our own beer and liquor and they were fine with that. Most clm brides use this hotel. Good luck !

I'm probably going to check otu CLM very soon...and its great to hear about this hotel! Most of my family lives around an hour away from CLM so i'm gonna need a good hotel and i LOVE the fact that they have a bar....or are really cool to let us have the after party in the lobby!

Thanks!!!

Sounds great. Thanks so much. We are getting married in the upstairs room. I have been assured there wouldn't be any 'run in brides'. Honestly, I have visited many reception halls, CLM is absolutely GORGEOUS!

thanks for all the help. Im going to check out the marriot.
