I'm not sure if we are taking our honeymoon right after the wedding so I was thinking about splurging on a nice hotel room the night of the wedding (well, moderate splurging, as I'm paying for a wedding too!)... does anyone have a recommendation on where to stay that might be a little jazzier than a regular room (ie: fireplace or jacuzzi tub, spa in hotel, etc).
thanks!

Re: Hotel on Wedding Night
Where is your wedding? If in Nassau, Garden City Hotel is beautiful. You could go into city and do something there. You could even bid on priceline.com but only bid on 5 star hotels, then you know wherever you stay would be nice.
You could go out to Montauk and stay at Gurney's (but rooms aren't super fancy)
Danford's in Port Jeff
East Wind and use spa there

We're getting married at the Three Village Inn so we're spending the night there.

Re: Hotel on Wedding Night
I went to look at La Quinta in Garden City today for my OOT guests and for FH and I on our wedding night and the bridal suite was awesome!!! It was super spacious, I fell in love. They also include a comp shuttle to and from your RH if you book a certain amount of rooms so I would def recommend looking into it!!

If you really want to splurge - what about booking a room at Oheka for your wedding night? Also try the Glen Cove Mansion (formerly Harrison House).

We're staying at La Quinta in the bridal suite but if you're looking for something like that, try Fox Hollow! My friend blocked her rooms there and she gets the room for free and it's REALLY nice!
