hotel poll
Here the situation... we live in White Plains and we're getting married at The Crescent in Bayville. We originally wanted to block rooms at the East Norwich Inn, but they are sold out for our date. I called in sick to work to go to LI today to look for hotels and I found 2. I found the Fairfield Inn in Syosset that's like 15-20 minutes away. The hotel is fairly nice and the rooms are ok ($125 a night). Then I found The Tides Motor Inn ($95 a night). It's right up the street from The Crescent, probably less than 5 minutes and it's right across from the beach. The problem is that it's kind of sketchy from the outside, but the rooms are just as nice as the Fairfield Inn. The whole point of the rooms is so people won't have to drive drunk, but I don't want my guests thinking I'm having them stay in a rat motel. Which do you think I should choose?
