Hotel - Rave
I just want to give a shout out to Laurie from the Hilton Garden Inn in Plainview!
She is just amazing. About 4 months ago after an unscheduled visit to the Hilton Garden Inn, I emailed the Sales Rep (since she wasn't there the day I looked at the hotel) and I booked a room block, shuttle service, and brunch for my guests and Laurie reserved a sweet for FH and me all through email. (The process was so convenient.)
Well the other day Laurie went above and beyond in service because I had my 1st Bridal Panic Attack - I was just completely overwhelmed reading over my paperwork and I called Laurie asking if we could meet so we can review what I had booked and what kind of $$$ I was looking at. Laurie was just amazing, she got me in as soon as possible and we had a casual conversation about what I booked and owed and she just totally calmed me down. She said that she would send me reminders when things were due so I don't have to worry about remembering & if i had any questions i could call her at anytime. I just really appreciated that she took the time out of her day to simply review things with me...she got nothing out of the meeting but merely did it to help me :)
(Ps- Also, I feel that I got an amazing room rate for my guests and the brunch and the shuttle were cost efficient since those things are based on how many people actually book rooms- just an FYI for all you brides who are $$ conscious like me ! lol )
