Hotel room block - Huntington Hilton or Hilton Garden Inn.

Hi I am trying to block my rooms by next week and would like some feedback for the Huntington Hilton or Hilton Garden inn?

My daughters wedding was this past weekend and all of our out of town guests stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Plainview. Very, very nice place. I would get in touch with Laurie Troisi, she was very helpful and very accomodating.

The rooms were very very clean, the Bar area was nice and the grounds were much nicer then I had expected.

i used the huntington hilton and had a good experience with most things. the only 2 flaws i found was 1. that the girl didn't get back to me as quick as i thought she would while we were in the 'planning process.' i know she has other clients and she was also in the middle of planning her own wedding, so i really tried not to hold it against her. just as a bride being anxious to get things done, i thought she would have understood. and 2. this was also partly my guests fault, 1 or 2 people didn't get their gift bags and didn't know there was transportation for them! my guest didn't use my comfirmation information, she used her own discount so they didn't put her under my guests. however, i called the hilton and asked for her to be put on, but she never was.

those are my only gripes, nothing major. everything else went well. the rooms were nice, they kept the bar open for us until around 3-4am and the brunch the next day was great! Any other questions you can FM!
