Re: Hotel Shuttle for guests
I am using a hotel in Riverhead, and they said as long as we book 15 rooms, the shuttle is free. They also said that they'd give us as many shuttles as we need to accomodate our guests, which I thought was really nice.

Re: Hotel Shuttle for guests
We're getting shuttles through our limo company (Camelot) but he said we don't have to finalize anything until a few months before.
The hotel we're using recommended a place too, but they're not free.

We did it through our limo company... it was about 1200 because we're doing it both ways, but it was supposed to be 2200. we saved 1000 by agreeing to let them send 2 20 passanger limos at the end of hte night if the bus gets booked.

I'm also getting married in riverhead and they include the shuttle.
I did hear that you can rent a trolley, it is a lot cheaper then a limo company. I know that there is one in the Tanger outlets you can rent.

My hotel doesnt provide either and they said they soley work with classic. I am not sure if I have the option of using my limo company or if they are only allowing us to use classic. i was confused by what she meant and didnt ask for clarification bc I wasnt thinking it at the time. Anyway, classic is another option.

Re: Hotel Shuttle for guests
It's the Best Western and the Holiday Inn Express. I went with Best Western b/c they have a restaurant - also because Holiday Inn never called me back!

Our hotel does not provide a shuttle so we are actually booking one. So far I have been quoted $1000 for both ways, but I might look into the trolley situation!

Re: Hotel Shuttle for guests
I did LOTS of research on this. The best price I found was from buses.com They quoted me 800 for a 32 person shuttle bus from 615pm-1am (unlimited loops) I paid a 200 deposit.
My sister used them for her wedding and the service was great... and the shuttle was LARGE

I am only doing the shuttle if the hotel is offering it. If not, they guests will have to find their own way. i dont want to be mean, but I cant think of everything and I cant afford to rent a shuttle bus. I am looking into hotels now that offer the service so lets see what happens

Not sure if it is close to you or not... but that La Quinta Inn near Roosevelt Field offers a free shuttle for ever 15 rooms...and the place is super new, clean and nice.

Re: Hotel Shuttle for guests
My mom found a hotel that offers shuttle service from the reception hall and will also shuttle people to the LIRR the next morning if need be for free. We just have to book 10 rooms to get it...I forget which hotel it is but I know it is 10 minutes away form Larkfield Manor.. If anyone needs info on this FM me and I will ask my mom for the name!
